Welcome to Dolpo. We build Shopify applications (including Dolpo Bundles & Upsells) designed to help merchants increase their average order value through custom product bundles, volume discounts, and upsell offers.

This Privacy Policy explains how Dolpo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you install and use our applications (the “App” or “Apps”), access our website at dolpo.io, or otherwise interact with us.

By installing the App or using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not install the App or use our website.

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account. We collect the following categories of data:

• Merchant Account Data: Your name, store name, email address, physical address, phone number, and Shopify domain. We use this to communicate with you and manage your account.
• Shopify Store Data: Product listings, collections, inventory levels, store currency, and theme settings. This information is necessary for the App to generate bundles and show correct pricing on your storefront.
• Customer Transaction & Cart Data: When a customer interacts with a bundle or adds products to their cart, we process cart contents, checkout details, and order details (specifically the items purchased, prices, and discount codes applied).
• Usage & Technical Data: IP addresses, browser type, device information, and activity logs detailing how you and your storefront visitors interact with the App.

We use the information we collect for the following operational and developmental purposes:

• Core Functionality: To generate, display, and manage bundles, quantity breaks, and volume discounts on your Shopify storefront.
• Analytics & Optimization: To provide you with dashboard analytics detailing how many bundles have been viewed, clicked, and purchased, helping you measure your ROI.
• Customer Support: To troubleshoot issues with theme compatibility, help customize styling, and respond to support tickets.
• Service Improvement: To monitor App performance, fix bugs, and design new marketing/upsell features.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following limited circumstances:

• Service Providers: We work with trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting, databases, and customer support ticketing software) to run our App and deliver support.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal subpoena.
• Business Transfers: If Dolpo is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may be transferred as part of that business transaction.

The App utilizes cookies and similar tracking identifiers on store visitor browsers to manage cart states and accurately track bundle statistics (e.g., whether a purchase resulted from a clicked bundle widget).

These cookies do not contain personally identifiable information and expire automatically. You can manage cookie settings within your web browser, although disabling them may impact the App's ability to track purchases or handle cart logic correctly.

We retain your store settings and analytics data as long as the App remains installed on your Shopify store. If you uninstall the App, we will delete or anonymize your store data in compliance with Shopify's data protection requirements (usually within 48 hours of uninstalling, or upon receiving a Shopify webhook request).

We implement industry-standard security measures (including TLS encryption in transit and secure database access policies) to protect your store and customer data from unauthorized access or alteration. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or California, you are entitled to specific privacy rights under GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, delete, or limit the processing of your personal data.

As a Shopify merchant, you are the “Data Controller” of your customers' data, and Dolpo acts as the “Data Processor”. We fully comply with Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks:

• customers/data_request: Erasing or transferring data when requested by a customer.
• customers/redact: Erasing customer data after they request deletion from your store.
• shop/redact: Erasing all store information and statistics from our databases 48 hours after uninstalling.
